Hi, I’m Shoumitro — and Sink In Serenity started, like most good things, almost by accident.
For over a year I’d been quietly building a Pinterest feed of interior design inspiration — bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, home offices — anything that made a room feel intentional. What I noticed wasn’t surprising: the rooms we live in shape how we feel more than almost anything else we own. The right lamp changes a corner. A single plant in the right spot makes a room breathe differently. A bedroom you actually want to come home to is the closest thing most of us have to therapy.
What was missing was the bridge. People would save the pins and DM me asking where is that from? — and there was no good answer. Just an image, floating without context.
This site is that bridge. Every room I write about is one I’d actually live in. Every product I link to is one I’d actually buy — or have already bought. The recommendations are organized by room and style so you can find the look you love, then find the actual pieces that build it.
